On the east end of Main Street you’ll find a congregation with a history that dates back to the earliest days of Hendrum itself. Immanuel Lutheran Church (ELCA) is a place of gathering for many residents, welcoming people of all faiths to worship and celebrate. Like churches across the country, Immanuel Lutheran serves its community with outreach services like the Community Food Shelf, which is operated by church volunteers. It also opens its doors on a regular basis for activities like dance and piano lessons.
If worship at Immanuel Lutheran isn’t the right fit for your family, it’s important to know that there are several other congregations within an easy “Sunday drive” of Hendrum. A few minutes to our north on Highway 75 you’ll find Holy Family Catholic Church and East Marsh River Lutheran Church (AFLC) in Halstad, MN. You can also head east on highway 200 to Ada, MN, which is home to St. Joseph Catholic Church, SonRise Evangelical Free Church, and Zion Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod).
